Born Brazilian, raised in the United Kingdom, Maurício Ortiz is world renowned behind the best parties in the LGBTQIA+ electronic scene in the Land of Royalty.
Born in Campo Grande (MS), Ortiz lived in London for over 29 years.
He combines his career as a flight attendant on a British Airline as well as an Event promoter & Producer of the largest events in London that is well known with the established brands:
- We Party;
- Matinée;
- Circuit Festival;
- Arena Festival and the Beyond London after party.
Do NOT hesitate nor think, that managing two such different careers is a problem for him.
Ortiz, has on numerous occasions been named the Best Club promoter in England for four consecutive years, awarded by the prestigious Boyz Magazine – Best achievement for those who started working in LGBTQIA+ nightlife in London’s Soho district.
His career that spans as a flight attendant for over 21 years, came later, when Maurício moved to Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
As an Executive member of the Orangenation group, including the labels WE Party, Matinée, Circuit Festival, Arena Festival, Papa Party, Beyond London, the professional entrepreneur also worked for businessman André Almada, Co-Owner of The Week club, as international director of the brand.
He also had the privilege, through an invitation from Gay Times Magazine, to participate in a editorial feature on the 01 Millennium issue in 2000, which made him even more popular in the global LGBTQIA+ scene.
In addition to all the above, Maurício still found time to manage the career of international and well known DJ Fabio Luigi, a music genius he discovered. Fabio is now a reference in the international electronic scene and followed by thousands of fans around the world.
Maurício is currently part of the Komplexo Tempo’s Team in São Paulo, Brazil.
Klaus Pian, a great entrepreneur of the biggest city in Latin America’s nightclub invested in Mauricio to be the Artistic Director of that nightclub. The kickoff was the latest 2022 Gay Pride in São Paulo.
The key to his success is to always keep seeing smiles on people’s faces in each of the extrodinary events he promotes.
